Soon after, she has to leave the pen, wandering the nearby countryside in the hopes of returning home. Eventually, she ends up on a picturesque farm and befriends a delightful girl named Ella. The lovely beauty takes on the responsibility of the helpless baby and protects her from danger, naming her Joey. Joey quickly becomes friends with Ella's tail-wagging companion, who has the ability to converse in human language. The youngster realizes that the unscrupulous thieves will not rest until they acquire the precious gem and that the ruthless gang may soon come knocking at her door. However, law enforcement officials are already on the trail of the heartless bandits.
